About Premier
Clarity before the conversation.
Premier Risk Brief helps Canadian business owners and insurance professionals organize research, understand the questions behind a risk, and prepare for a conversation with a licensed broker.
Our role—and its limits
Premier Risk Brief is an independent publication and research directory, not an insurer or licensed insurance brokerage registered with the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO). We do not quote, recommend, arrange, or bind insurance. For personalized insurance advice, contact your licensed broker.
The Ontario contractor tool creates a local preparation summary. It is not an insurance application, quotation, compliance certification, or market acceptance decision. You choose whether to share your download with your own broker.
Publication: Premier Risk Brief.
Our editorial approach
- Distinguish the source. Legislation and regulator publications are not interchangeable with insurer policy wording, court decisions, or trade reporting. A directory is a research starting point, not proof of coverage.
- Make uncertainty visible. Unconfirmed commercial terms remain unconfirmed. A firm's presence in the directory does not establish its current appetite, geographic availability, appointment requirements, or access through Premier.
- Keep guidance in scope. Practice guides explain general topics. They do not establish the terms of your policy or a legal outcome. Read the linked source and discuss applicability with a qualified professional.
- Do not manufacture review. Some material is prepared with AI assistance. A published page does not imply review by a licensed broker or lawyer. We do not substitute an automated label for a named professional's documented review.
- Respect source permissions. Public access does not establish permission to collect or republish material. Collection and reuse require a source-specific permission review.

Insurance licensing varies by province and role. For Ontario brokerages, use the RIBO brokerage directory. A listing here is not a substitute for checking licensing and authorization directly.
